What a residential proxy is and when it helps
A residential proxy is a gateway that forwards your traffic through a home internet connection in the country you pick. The website you visit sees the household IP address and its provider, not your own address and not a data center range. Because the address belongs to a consumer network, it carries the same reputation as any other visitor from that city.
That makes residential IPs the first choice when a site treats data center traffic differently: search results, marketplace listings, travel fares, local ads and social platforms often show different content, or stricter checks, to server addresses. With a residential exit you see the page a local visitor sees.

Rotating and sticky sessions
By default the gateway gives every new connection a fresh IP address from the country you set. This rotation suits crawling many pages: each request looks like a different visitor, and a temporary block on one address never stops the job.
When a task needs the same address for a while, such as signing in, filling a cart or stepping through a checkout, add a session name to your username. The gateway then keeps that IP for up to 60 minutes. A new session name gives you a new address at once.

Targeting by country and city

Packs, prices and how traffic is counted
Residential proxies are sold in traffic packs: 15 GB for $31.50, 25 GB for $52.50, 50 GB for $99.50, 100 GB for $189.00 and 250 GB for $445.00. Larger packs lower the price per gigabyte down to $1.78/GB.
Traffic is counted in both directions (what you send and what you receive). The traffic in a pack never expires, so a slow month costs nothing extra. When a pack runs low, buy another one; the new gigabytes are added to the same login.
Connecting from your code or tools
Every plan comes with one gateway, gw.proxyvpn.live, port 7700 for HTTP and HTTPS and port 7701 for SOCKS5, plus a username and password. Any HTTP client, headless browser, scraping framework or antidetect browser that accepts a proxy with a login can use it.
