Proxy and VPN FAQ: plans, payment, setup and accounts
Short answers about how ProxyVPN plans work, how to pay, how to connect your tools and how the VPN keeps your devices private.
Plans and prices
What does ProxyVPN sell?
Residential, mobile, static ISP, dedicated datacenter, shared datacenter and unlimited residential proxies, plus a WireGuard VPN for up to 10 devices. Every product is a fixed plan you pay once.
What is the cheapest plan?
Every plan starts at $30 or a little more. Examples: 25 static ISP IPs for $30.00, 15 GB residential for $31.50, 50 datacenter IPs for $34.50 and 6 months of VPN for $35.96.
Why is there a $30 minimum?
Crypto payments carry network fees, so each plan is sized to at least $30. Bigger plans lower the unit price.
Are there subscriptions or automatic renewals?
No. Each plan is a single payment. When it ends, buy a new plan if you want to continue.
Do gigabytes expire?
Residential and mobile traffic packs never expire. IP plans run 30 days, unlimited plans run for their number of days, and VPN plans run 6 months or 2 years.
Payment
How do I pay?
Choose a plan and press Pay. A secure payment window shows the coin, the network and the exact amount. You can pay with USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, BNB, SOL or LTC.
When is my plan ready?
As soon as the payment is confirmed on the network, the plan appears in My services with its login, IP list or VPN configuration.
What if I send a different amount?
Send the exact amount shown in the payment window. A different amount is checked by hand, and the window shows what to do next.
What is credit?
Credit is money held on your account, for example from a refund. When your credit covers a plan, you can pay for it from credit in one click.
Using proxies
Which protocols do proxies support?
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, all with username and password.
How do I choose the country?
For gateway products (residential, mobile, unlimited) add -country-xx to the username, for example pvxxxx-country-de. IP products are bought for one country.
How long does a sticky session last?
Up to 60 minutes. Add -session-anyname to the username; a new name gives a new IP.
Can I use the proxies with a browser or antidetect browser?
Yes. Enter the host, port, username and password in the proxy settings of the browser or profile.
Is there an API?
Yes. The REST API lists plans and locations, buys plans from credit and returns your logins. Create a key in the account area.
VPN
How do I set up the VPN?
Open My services, pick a location and download the WireGuard file or scan its QR code with the WireGuard app. OpenVPN and IKEv2 logins are shown next to it.
How many devices can use one VPN plan?
Up to 10 devices at the same time.
Does the VPN keep logs?
No activity logs. We keep only what runs the account: the account code, plan, end date and payment record.
Account
How do I create an account?
Press Create account, make your account key, save it, and you are in. No email, name or password is needed.
What if I lose my account key?
The key is the only way into the account, so keep it in a password manager. We cannot show it again because we store only a scrambled copy.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, from Account settings once the credit is used and no plan is active.
